General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is searching for a creative, resourceful, dynamic, and proactive Market Operations Manager. In this position, you will be an integral contributor, ensuring smooth operations in support of the Marketing team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Directly supports operations for the US Marketing team.

  • Responsible for the operations of all peer-to-peer engagements such as live & virtual ad boards and speaker events. Responsibilities would include working with Agencies, Compliance, Digital and Enterprise Capabilities (DEC) and Finance.

  • Manage all logistical aspects of congress planning including management of booth installation & shipments, vendor managements, sponsorship needs, etc.

  • Provide key planning, organization, communication and operations for key Marketing meetings, live & virtual.

  • Prepare and assist the management of budgets, forecasts, accruals & actuals related to meetings/events.

  • Accountable for standards being met regarding appropriate record-keeping documentation and ensure conformance to all company regulatory standards of operation.

  • Create process and manage operations for all fulfillment needs such as print and digital materials.

  • Key partner with DEC to assist with data integration, omnichannel planning and implementation.

  • Serves as Marketing Interface with Sales Operations for relevant trainings, meetings and communications.

  • Support the administration of the promotional review process including content submissions and renewal and key stakeholder communication.

  • Serves as project manager when needed for key initiatives including brand planning and programs with our alliance partner.

  • Develop, organize, and maintain critical documents in SharePoint.

  • Ensure accuracy of data and sources, and research questions or problems demonstrating a sound knowledge of the Commercial Business(es) and general corporate policies and operations.

  • Integral contributor to the team, acting as the operational hub for the department and works collaboratively with other departments.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management skills, and the ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations. Must have strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Prior experience managing complex operational projects in a busy, high-growth and fast-paced environment

  • 4+ years related experience

  • Exceptional relationship building & interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Biotech or Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.

  • Top-notch organization and project management skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An ability to influence for greater outcomes.

  • Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
