The Associate, Digital Product Manager will be a digital banking analyst that will support senior product managers in putting structure around new products and features based on multiple client’s input. S/he will develop, own & execute on enterprise digital banking strategy, product vision, features and designs. This is a role that supports the development of our digital banking strategy with detailed business requirements that would be gathered and refined with our clients. The Associate Product Manager will lead the analytical discovery for improvements and investments required for our digital products by working with cross-functional teams. Collaborates internally with sales, marketing, development, and implementation teams, and externally with clients, to manage backlog and release planning, define product roadmap, incorporate market direction and sort through diverse requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracks product and feature use to analyze and understand implications for product enhancements.

  • Works with QA and/or internal UAT resources to ensure requirements are met and approve finished product releases before it goes to the client.

  • Develops tools and processes to gather feedback to shape and build future products

  • Supports Sales, Operations and Marketing in promoting the products and ensuring revenue, business value, and client adoption goals are met

  • Define and manage KPIs: Define business and operational KPIs for owned products; develop targets and manage forecasting for each Defined KPI; partner with Analytic teams on deep-dives for anomalies in trends, to define root cause and action plans.Provides recommendations based on insights gathered to shape product strategy.

  • Industry & External Research: Ability to search for, locate, extract, organize, evaluate and resent information within internal data and external data (primary and secondary data); Research competition to identify threats and opportunities. Ability to connect trends, to hep influence direction of roadmaps, strategies, and product features.

  • User Experience & Journey Mapping: Ability to record, plot and analyze the interactions – or "touchpoints" – that a customer has with your channel/product using existing company data; Ability to define and articulate "happy" and "unhappy" paths to show distinction of experiences; Ability to leverage external research and connect the-dots with customer feedback, to define "ideal state."

  • BS/BA degree or higher Technology Field, Master degree a plus.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management experience in Financial Services / FinTech / or similar industry focusing on web and mobile applications.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Technology and/or Banking.

  • 2+ years of experience in the Product management or product design experience in the digital world.

  • Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team.

  • Ability to manage multiple scrum backlogs.

  • Ability to work with development and testing teams to ensure that they understand the requirements.

  • Strong understanding of agile principles.

  • Analytical and experienced with KPI development and internal and external research.

  • Licenses/Certification SCRUM or SAFE Product Owner preferred.
