We are looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical eCommerce Specialist to join AliMed’s Digital team. He or she will be a key player in driving process improvements for thewww.AliMed.comsite, and establishing merchandising, personalization, and site search best practices. They will help to define and measure cross channel engagement metrics and evolve our ecommerce sales driven team into one that supports all sales channels.
As an expert on digital analytics and how AliMed customers shop and browse online, the eCommerce Specialist will advocate for the digital user experience. They will serve as the subject matter expert for insight on site traffic, search, personalization and merchandising performance.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advocate best practices and research new industry trends, opportunities, tools, best practices, news and potential partnerships
Assist with technical support with website problems, including talking customer service through any difficulties, and notifying e-commerce director of recurring technical issues
Analyze site performance daily and identify opportunities to improve user experience and drive both online and offline sales.
Scale site search, personalization and product merchandising tactics that work well for the diverse product classes that make up our catalog.
Infuse a data driven approach to all projects, ensuring measurement is considered in the planning phase and reported on continuously. Develop scorecards in partnership w/Business Analytics team as appropriate.
Quickly test, learn and iterate to maximize performance
Balance resources between serving a loyal B2B customer base and acquiring new customers.
Must be able to work with multiple departments and wear multiple hats on a small team.
BA or BS degree
2+ years’ experience in eCommerce
Experience managing digital projects, programs and/or services
Experience in customer service related role or agency experience
Experience with site merchandising and site search tools such as Reflektion, Nextopia, HawkSearch or similar is a plus
Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SalesForce, HotJar, Qualtrics, Optimizely, CrazyEgg or similar tools strongly preferred.
Ability to clearly communicate to teammates with a diverse level of digital knowledge
