FG Clean Wipes – Business Development Manager –
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, BDMs are responsible for the management and growth of sales within a defined group customers and Key Accounts. BDMs are also charged with developing new relationships (with targeted end users) which lead to increased market share. BDMs lead the formation and execution of account plans to achieve sales and marketing objectives. BDMs are heavily focused on growth both within the current customer base and in developing new business (segments / end users / partners). “Owning your Business”, a bias for action and developing trust (internally and externally) are key elements for success and are integral to our culture at FG Clean Wipes. Specific responsibilities of the position will include:
Increase Market Share in existing markets by selling existing capabilities and products while protecting existing business base (10-15 primary partners).
Increase Market Share through development of new relationships (end users utilizing cleanrooms or controlled environments). Target market segments and potential new customers are defined by Sales / Marketing Leadership.
Support launch of New Products introduced by the Company.
Multiply yourself through your distributor(s) sales representatives (via training tools, selling tools and salesforce.com tracking). Establish a regular cadence for Account Plan reviews at distributors (targeted end users, joint call calendar, etc) – driving growth.
Complete Product Training course (internal) and deliver on-going product training to distributor sales representatives / end users.
Work Experience qualifications must include:
Measurable success (sales growth and strategic planning) with respect to New Business Development.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with cleanroom / controlled environment consumables or related products
A minimum of 5 years sales experience working with distributors. Demonstrable skills in relationship building, training and motivating distributors and/or agents or reps
Experience in end user relationship building / demand creation activities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multinational business environment
- Bachelor level degree in Business or equivalent experience
Skills and Experience:
Commercial and technical acumen.
Critical and strategic thinker who can manage the details.
Achievement oriented with a positive “can do” attitude toward learning.
Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business units.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
Understand and respond to a diverse population.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, including a briefcase and/or sales materials.
Up to 50% of domestic and international travel may be required.
In most territories, travel is required by car. Proof of insurance and a clean DMV record may be required.
