As a member of our marketing department you’ll be part of our fast-paced, highly efficient team and work alongside our creative director. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where variety is constant.
As Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual identity of USALLIANCE and participate in a collaborative process to develop an array of print and online marketing materials. The right candidate must be well-versed in many facets of graphic design including print production, digital printing and variable data, publication layout, web/email design, and more. This role is for an experienced hands-on designer who can also provide leadership and instruction to an internal audience, vendors and outside partners.
Create a range of marketing materials (branding, postcards, flyers, publications, direct mailers, signage, tradeshow displays, signage, etc.) and online communications (landing pages, emails, etc.)
Develop creative files according to print specifications and effectively prepare them for a smooth production process
Produce high quality design and web assets under tight timelines and according to all client specifications
Effectively communicate visual identity standards, best practices and rationale for design choices
Accurately estimate time to complete projects and adhere to all project goals, budgeted hours and deadlines
Provide ongoing project and customer relationship management
Provide art direction for the overall USALLIANCE brand as well as to other design staff
Serve as a team leader and offer instruction and guidance in design techniques to other design staff when needed
Take an active role in supporting company sales and marketing efforts and participate in creative brainstorming to develop new concepts and processes to improve workflow.0

5+ years graphic and web design experience
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or advanced training in visual design and web technologies
Strong online design portfolio with a variety of projects types and styles represented
8+ years of relevant experience in a Graphic Designer role (agency or print setting is a plus)
Strong technology skills with a variety of industry leading software (especially Adobe CC)
Track record of quality work and satisfied clients
Proven ability to work within client budgets and deadlines, understand goals and anticipate needs
Effective project management, communication and collaboration skills
Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud
Proficient in HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap and Google Schemas
Experience with video editing (Premiere), motion graphics and/or video shooting a plus
Experience with marketing automation and cross-channel marketing
