Job Summary

The Vice President of Marketing for Government Markets is a forward thinking digitally enabled leader who will fill a key leadership role on the Point32Health marketing and brand team with dotted line reporting to the President, Government Markets.

This leader will have accountability for the marketing strategy, lead generation (aligning with sales and brokers), media evaluation and placement, agency relationships, creative team and communication strategy for our Medicare, Medicaid, Dual Eligible and Exchange businesses, as well as leadership for our martech plan and evolution.

In this capacity, the Vice President will collaborate with sales and line of business leaders to meet the annual growth plan, enable successful new product launches, and ensure plans achieve lead generation goals for our annual enrollment. This leader will also help formulate and deploy omnichannel communication plans that help both potential and new members learn, shop, and enroll in a plan, as well as spearhead advanced segmentation efforts that will result in higher levels of engagement and retention within our established member base.

The Vice President of Marketing for Government Markets will also lead the deployment of the Specialty Products portfolio within the respective & appropriate line of business, defining the marketing strategy, product launch and broker/member engagement strategy. The Vice President will oversee a team of marketing leaders, the marketing analysis and martech team for Government Markets; partner with departments across the broader Point32Health organization; and lead interaction and strategy with our external agencies to deliver on our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES – what you will be doing (top five) :

  • Delivering on the strategy for and all aspects within the marketing plan on an annual basis; including achieving lead generation targets/CPL/brand health targets

  • Designing and implementing the marketing strategy for new products, sunsetting of retired products and/or migration of products on a continual basis to new market segments and geographies

  • Executing on operational excellence, through matrix organizational partnerships

  • Curating and cultivating partnership relationships

  • Overseeing a team of marketing managers, responsible for product marketing, advertising and social media, broker and sales enablement marketing strategy, events and sponsorship strategy, marketing technology and analytics

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS – what you need to perform the job

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent business experience required

  • MBA or other related master’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE (minimum years required) :

  • A minimum of 10 years in health care industry, with expertise in health insurance

  • Prior responsibility for lead generation, CPL, marketing budget and management

  • Experience leading a team of talented colleagues (25+) and both attracting and retaining talent to the organization

  • Experience working within a matrixed organization, where direct accountability is required, but responsibility may lie elsewhere

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel) :

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.

  • May require travel, as needed, for partnership and customer meetings
