Job Summary
The M&A and Venture Investments Sr. Analyst supports the Diversified Businesses line of business.
The Senior Program Manager will play an integral role in supporting the Diversified Businesses leadership team leading the efforts to support inorganic growth at Point32Health. Specifically, the Senior Program Manager will be the primary relationship manager and conduit for both M&A and venture investment partners. Role requires a deep understanding of inorganic growth as well as acquisition opportunity evaluation and identification.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
Investment Strategy
Oversight of Point32Health’s venture capital portfolio (relationships, due diligence, on-going monitoring fund performance and strategic collaboration)
Maximize strategic value through ongoing engagement with VC partners.
Monitor, evaluate and socialize portfolio companies with key internal stakeholders (clinical innovation, MCI, etc.)
Manage direct investment portfolio. Conduct diligence review and develop investment theses, identify new opportunities.
Create reports and develop communications for internal investment committee and Finance Committee of the Board.
M & A Strategy
Ensure internal alignment on key strategic components of Point32Health M&A strategy.
Lead development and maintenance of M&A blueprint that supports Point32Health corporate strategy.
Collaborate with senior leadership to create playbooks, codify decisions, and facilitate evaluations of M&A targets.
Create and develop detailed financial models of potential acquisition candidates reflecting business and market conditions.
Ensure a proactive approach to sourcing/opportunity identification; drive decision making process.
Define revenue and cost synergy benchmarks for specific acquisition targets.
Lead internal diligence review process; identify key contributors and facilitate evaluation.
Define integration process, support key business leads in implementing integration plans.
Run day-to-day interactions with advisory firms including investment banking and consultants
Diversified Businesses
- Partner with other areas within Diversified Businesses to support market research, product development and implementation, and business case development
Perform other activities as directed by department management

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
EDUCATION: (Minimum education required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a financial or business field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Years of experience)
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in investment banking or consulting
Previous M&A or related experience is required
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: (Include interpersonal skills)
Strong quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills
Strong data analytic and presentation skills
Strong communication skills and experience working with various stakeholders, including senior leaders
Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, while ensuring accuracy
Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling experience
Ability to automate routine processes, such as consolidation of multiple data/file sources, as much as possible
Ability to contribute and succeed in a team-oriented environment
Ability to learn quickly and to work independently on multiple competing priorities
