As a Venture Leader, you are responsible for leading the creation and scaling of a new business venture within Philips. You are a thought leader to drive innovation to translate customer insights into a winning proposition for Philips in the domain of patient flow and how that enables enterprise care collaboration.

  • Defining, communicating, and realizing the vision of the Venture, including the key role it plays in the broader enterprise-wide care collaboration strategy

  • Defining and maintaining a roadmap covering the development of all key aspects of the Venture

  • Building, leading, and managing the Venture team while ensuring effective collaboration with the wider Philips organization (e.g. product management, R&D, Philips Research, Healthcare Transformation Services, design, legal, marketing, privacy and security, Q&R)

  • Defining and managing the Venture business plan, including the timeline and budget

  • Implementing and executing a viable go-to-market strategy, including identifying and securing the necessary control points

  • Determining optimal pricing strategy for both existing and new solutions in collaboration with Product Managers and Marketing/Sales managers in markets

  • Ensuring up-to-date overview of emerging market players, technical, and application development in the defined market categories to maintain active understanding of emerging targets and partners

  • Establishing and managing the ecosystem required by the Venture, including key customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and other 3rd parties

  • Managing the Venture board in agreement with the business category leader

  • Preparing and completing the transition of the Venture from the NBX program into a standard operating business

  • Utilizing the NBX process to decrease risk and accelerate the creation and scaling of the new business or business categories

You are part of

The Enterprise Care Collaboration category under the Electronic Medical Record & Care Management business. This business category delivers patient engagement and healthcare analytics software solutions to manage population health management, patient engagement, portals, supports remote patient monitoring proposition with patient engagement, command center, analytics across different settings, such as hospitals, primary care, clinics, health insurance companies, and patients’ homes.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years’ related experience in global product management and marketing, corporate venturing, business development, and/or product development for software solutions

  • Expertise in developing complex, realistic, and comprehensive business cases

  • Experience in facilitating (strategic and customer) workshops is a prerequisite

  • Experience in Value Proposition Creation (VPC)

  • Experience in SaaS / recurring revenue business models and delivering cloud-based solutions

  • Experience with structured road mapping and use of TFS (or a comparable tool)

  • Experience in SAFe or another Agile Scaling method (certification)

  • Experience with techniques such as story mapping

  • Experience in successfully delivering propositions incorporating advanced technologies, such as advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

  • Fluent in English language, both written and verbal
