Strategic Missions Program Manager will work closely with the Strategic Missions Program Lead and have a critical role in the development and growth in Strategic, Space, Missile Defense, and Hypersonic business areas. The Program Manager is accountable for the design, development, and success of the platforms and solutions provided to the customer. The Program Manager will work closely with engineering subject matter experts to communicate Draper’s core technical capabilities and IRADs to potential customers and industry partners. The Program Manager will lead teams of engineers in short duration development projects and report results to senior leadership.
5 to 15 years’ Experience in Relevant Technical Field or Industry or Business
Education: PhD, MS, MBA, or Equivalent
US DoD SECRET clearance or higher – Preferred
Analytical skills including business modeling and financial analysis
Ability to work across teams
Ability to create and deliver presentations to key stakeholders that effectively communicate key findings and summarize insights and implications to future work or business
Ability to manage complex projects:
Organized, detail-oriented, structured thinking and execution
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines
High level of independent judgment and proactivity
Ability to collaborate with diverse and complex stakeholders, including interacting, gaining credibility, building relationships with, and influencing others at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Self-motivation, entrepreneurialism, high energy, and the ability to successfully function in a high-demand, performance-driven environment with significant exposure to senior leadership
Experience developing new products and/or services with demonstrated results
Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences in a manner that is clear, logical, and consistent, both verbally and on paper
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project
Candidates interested in working from the DC office could be considered, with consistent travel to Cambridge, HQ.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security Government security clearance requires proof of US citizenship.
Secret Clearance preferred.
