In this role
You will work within the North American market and with global teams to design and deploy Philips Health Systems (HS) Commercial Policy (CP) and ensure tight alignment of pricing strategies and process to the market growth strategies. The role has strategic and tactical elements and is the owner of North America Service and Solutions delivery pricing in assigned areas of responsibility.
Additionally, you work closely with the Health Systems marketing and sales leadership teams both within the market and central global organization. You will also partner closely with North America Sales Operations, NA Commercial Policy, global Service and Solutions Delivery pricing, global Commercial Pricing team, Health Systems Business Development, and Performance Management teams.
The Marketing Pricing Manager acts as the orchestrator and linking pin between local NAM marketing & sales leadership and the global Business Units in what is described as the Business Market Combination (BMC).

You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Influencing global design and deploy the latest HS Commercial Policy into the NAM market with a focus on the service business lines.
Setting price points for Multi-vendor services and Philips maintenance agreements and all other lines of the services business.
Servicing business lines to be the first to move into the CP way of working, thus requiring the creation/defining of the local process, training, and driving accountability.
Reviewing the HS CP implementation and initiate corrective action where required
Orchestrating the story-board supporting Price Realization reporting
Driving culture change moving from cost+ to value-based pricing and pay for performance
Coaching sales leaders, share the best practices, design and execute programs to build world-class pricing capability
Reviewing and resolve escalations below the minimum price
Co-creating the future HS CP framework and own the PDCA cycle of the selected part of the framework
Providing feedback to supporting functions on processes, analytics, and tools improvements
Acting as a role model for compliance and Philips behaviors
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Master’s degree in finance with> 5 years of experience in international business
Advanced Microsoft Office user; SAP and QlikView knowledge
Strong services and commercial understanding and ‘can do’ mentality to search for solutions
Ability to work both on a strategic level as well as an operational level in a virtual team with a wide array of stakeholders (cross-functional, cross-layer)
Strong conceptual and hands-on analytical skills
Intercultural fluency, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
Proven leadership skills in a highly dynamic matrix organization
Project management skills
Previous exposure to B2B business. Experience in health systems is a plus
LEAN certified (advanced)
