Philips Senior Social Media Manager - Activation Hub in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In this role, you have the opportunity to

oversee the paid social channel strategy across all social channels for Philips Personal Health (US & Canada). They will help to deliver on our business goals as they align to social media in support across all category, engagement, and D2C teams. Manage internal agency activation hub teams to deliver on agreed to KPIs, driving optimization, and create test and learns in alignment with global frameworks.

You are responsible for

  • Oversee social channel strategy and execution across Philips brand, category and D2C plans

  • Manage internal social agency resources

  • Align with global social channel leads across markets to bring best in class solutions to both the global and market teams

  • Work with brand engagement team to integrate influencer and engagement content into social media buys

  • Bring new tests and platforms to activation teams with proposed opportunities.

  • Work with activation hub content teams to ensure content is developed to meet best practices across all social platforms

  • Act as key point of contact for social partners (ex: Facebook)

As part of the Marketing Team, you will work collaboratively with cross functional colleagues, connecting customer and consumers with personal care solutions improving health everywhere while growing as a business builder.

To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • +7 years of experience at an agency or brand

  • Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex projects or engagements.

  • Solid marketing background, with a key focus in understanding social media ecosystems

  • Built and managed social media strategies and test and learn frameworks

  • Experience executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms

  • Whatever it takes attitude and goal-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent analytical thinking to be able to interpret large amounts of information and synthesize insights

  • Strong critical thinking to identify and synthesize patterns from emerging trends and translate into actionable recommendations for Philips

  • Project Management skills to effectively drive insight generation with in-hub media and campaign teams, local marketing team and media partner.
