Philips Senior Research Product Manager - Image Guided Therapy in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In this role, you have the opportunity to

make an impact on the future of image guided therapy solutions. You will drive the value proposition creation process for research activities with a customer-centric approach to bring cutting-edge technologies into valuable clinical solutions. This position will be located at the Philips Innovation Hub in Cambridge, MA.

You are responsible for

  • Identifying new opportunities for improving image-guided interventions based on customer and market insights

  • Driving the value proposition creation process within an image-guided therapy value stream working together with the value stream owner, release train engineer, system architect, and team of research scientists

  • Translating value proposition benefit statements into claims strategies and evidence generation plans, aligning with our quadruple aim

  • Driving front end business case development and competitor analyses

  • Engaging with the ecosystem to validate value or business propositions

  • Presenting strategic recommendations

  • Working with the IGT business, Strategy, Clinical/Medical, Marketing, and Design to ensure that new Research propositions are well positioned on the business roadmap

  • Participating in and having impactful contributions to the portfolio management decisions

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors plus 8 years or MBA plus 5 years of relevant upstream marketing, product management, or business development experience

  • Experience in the medical device industry

  • Knowledge of interventional image guided procedures is a plus

  • Experience in driving the value proposition creation process (including value creation and value capture)

  • Experience in upstream marketing or product management on smart systems or solution and service innovations

  • Experience in developing business cases

  • Knowledge of marketing, innovative business modeling, healthcare economics, US reimbursement, strategy methods, tools for optimal characterization, segmentation and assessment opportunities

  • Proven ability to communicate across a variety of functions (e.g. engineering, sales, marketing, healthcare providers) and the ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders

  • Results-driven, accurate and quality oriented

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
