The Energy & Earth Sciences Journals group publishes more than 90 high-quality journals, including key publications edited by the best minds in the subject areas.
About the role:
We are looking for a bright, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to maintain, develop, and take complete publishing responsibility for a defined list of energy journals within Energy & Earth Sciences and to work on related projects and initiatives. The role will balance scientific knowledge with entrepreneurial skills and a keen interest in new online developments. Note that this is one role and the job title offered will depend on the level of experience of the successful candidate.
The Energy & Earth Sciences journals’ team is a global one, with 7 publishers in Oxford (UK), 2 in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), and 3 in Beijing (China). We are looking to recruit a full-time Publisher to work at one of our main offices in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Oxford, London, or Amsterdam from 15 August 2017 onwards. Please note you must already have a permit to work in one of these locations. Any Publisher would need to have a good educational background and keen interest in scientific publishing; good communication skills; and would have to be prepared to work somewhat independently from the rest of the immediate team while also contributing to team initiatives and assisting and advising other publishing staff in the team as necessary.

Educational level and experience:
•University degree - essential
•Minimum of 3-4 years journal publishing experience – desirable – or equivalent industry experience in the energy/climate change fields
•Fluent English speaker – essential
