We deliver industry-leading cloud services that empower developers across the globe to build, ship, and manage applications with the fastest code-to-cloud experience on the market, tying together Visual Studio, GitHub, and Azure. Our goal is to provide developers with the most advanced and productive application platform on the market, underpinned by Azure’s rock-solid foundation of global datacenters.
The AppPlat Office of Growth and Business Strategy is growing. The team is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Business Intelligence.
The Senior Program Manager, Business Intelligence will drive AppPlat’s data and analytics efforts to improve the customer experience and business performance.
Drive the data and analytics efforts across AppPlat
Produce actionable insights in partnership with teams across Microsoft; communicate findings to a broad audience
Partner with business stakeholders to build action plans to improve the customer experience and drive increased customer engagement based on findings
Partner with internal teams to better understand and evaluate performance including market penetration, pipeline, revenue, margin, customer engagement and other related metrics
Create and maintain reporting to track AppPlat’s objectives and key results (OKRs) and related performance metrics
Advise AppPlat teams on telemetry, reporting and analytics; promote a culture of data driven decision making
5+ years of professional experience in program management, product marketing, solutions architect or business analytics
Previous experience with container technology like Kubernetes or serverless/PaaS
Passionate about data and analytics as a lever to improve business performance
Effective at driving complex multi-stakeholder processes and cross-team programs
Ability to build effective relationships, influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
Strong verbal and written communications skills for a global audience
Strong business acumen, analytical and detail oriented
Familiarity with technology like Azure DevOps, Azure Data Explorer and Power BI
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
