Come join the US Modern Work, Surface & Security Marketing Team! We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in Security, Compliance & Identity (SCI) Compete within the US Subsidiary.
US Marketing & Operations (USM&O) is the ‘Marketing and COO’ function for Microsoft United States (MSUS), also known as the US subsidiary. USM&O executes company strategy and priorities that enable us to achieve our business goals with a focus on B2B customer engagement by developing and executing on go-to-market programs (GTMs), Marketing Campaigns, and a Field Operating Model. Driving a common operating model across the US subsidiary ensures consistent, measurable execution and landing of priorities. Driving alignment with our internal corporate partners in organizations including Product Marketing, Marketing & Consumer Business (MCB), Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB), Engineering, and Field Leadership is also critical to our collective success, as is continuing to listen, learn and respond via rapid feedback loops.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the $10B Microsoft Security Business. With the pace of change over the last year driven by remote work and deeper focus into Security, this role will help shape investments SCI compete space.
You will be developing and executing compete strategy to grow revenue, market share, and help shape sales landing strategy, field enablement and cross-group execution in the US.
Key responsibilities include:
Security, Compliance and Identity Compete PMM
Lead the US SCI Compete marketing planning strategy and execution.
Be the compete expert in the US cybersecurity market – be able to deliver the value proposition vs competition.
Work with the field to gather US competitors insights and socialize across Microsoft to develop strategies / offers to better compete.
Provide insights to leadership team during regular business reviews.
Maintain compete knowledge and evangelize SCI internally and externally.
Be a strong advocate for the US Modern Work & Security business to the WW team, influencing product roadmap and marketing/partner investments.
5+ years of experience in product marketing, business planning or sales/marketing operations with a record of delivering tangible business results.
Passion for action and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. A strong desire to learn and grow.
A passion for technology and the ability to clearly articulate solutions in a business and customer-centric manner
Capacity to think, plan and execute resourcefully and autonomously with rigor.
Ability to view a business holistically end-to-end across marketing, sales, partner and across organizational boundaries.
Strong analytical skills to analyze business performance, identify market opportunity and develop useful insights from data.
Ability to influence without authority, collaborate effectively, and lead virtual teams.
