Sage Therapeutics Senior Product Manager, Zuranolone Consumer Marketing in Cambridge, Massachusetts

General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is searching for a Senior Product Manager to partner in the development and execution of consumer marketing initiatives with an emphasis on digital. This position will play a key role in the development and implementation of DTC/advertising campaigns, digital strategy, patient website, CRM development and implementation, paid media, and social media initiatives. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, think strategically, and collaborate transversally to accomplish complex deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure digital tactics are aligned with brand business objectives, including integration of digital strategy into overall patient marketing strategy.

  • Develop and execute consumer websites and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and related digital/media initiatives:

  • CRM

  • Patient Videos

  • Display/Paid Search

  • Review reporting and KPIs on digital initiatives to develop recommendations and implement future digital marketing programs.

  • Develop and manage core consumer launch materials including patient brochure, print ads, starter kit, etc.

  • Support the development and execution of the consumer creative campaign and market research .

  • Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (MLR).

  • Manage multiple agency partners, including management of associated budgets.

  • Manage vendor contract processing (purchasing requisitions, invoices, and approvals).

  • Collaborate with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, Patient Advocacy, and Medical Affairs.

  • Align all efforts with Collaboration partner.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Must thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, and good conflict management and negotiation skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years in a marketing-related role in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (marketing, sales, market research, market access, etc.).

  • Minimum of 2+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

  • Up to 20% business-related travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNS experience is a plus.

  • Launch experience is a plus.

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystem and how desktop, mobile, social, search, and other online/offline channels work together in a customer journey.

  • Experience managing external brand agencies and vendors.

  • An outstanding track record of strong communication, presentation, analytic, and strategic capabilities.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers of various backgrounds and expertise.
