The product manager is a member of the Digital Health product team and will manage a product from early opportunities to a successful launch taking into considerations value proposition, business, quality, usability, regulatory, legal, medical and more .

The Product Manager will own the roadmap, requirements and backlog for the Digital product. The position will work with all development departments (Engineering, QA, and UX) and with all relevant stakeholders in the company and ensure that product vision and business needs are fulfilled throughout all stages of the development process. The ideal candidate will have strong mobile, web and backend understanding and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary cross functional teams.

Coordinate, support, and lead a product from initiation through completion. Specific activities include:

  1. Take high level business objectives and market requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements, while getting alignment and acting as a liaison with the following business units: Commercial, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, Privacy, and IT.

  2. Coordinate the development of product’s iterations by owning the Agile/SDLC meetings and providing clear and detailed definitions and priorities that guide the work of the teams: User Experience, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Validation, and Technical Support.

  3. Possess a deep understanding of product details to be able to manage the roadmap and rapidly make tradeoff decisions, continually adjusting direction as the market changes or due to any other change requests or needs.

  4. Ensure the product meets a consistent quality standard by ensuring the team adheres to Teva’s internal Quality Management System and guidelines, and any governmental Regulatory Systems the product operates under.

  5. Work with relevant stakeholders as regulatory, privacy, manufacturing, IT, commercial, and legal in the company to collect inputs and guidance as part of creating the product definition and content.

  6. Drive product launches and releases including working with commercial and managing the product life cycle post-launch, support and release management.

Experience Required:

5+ years' of software product management experience, preferably in mobile/app development and healthcare.

  • Ability to lead discussions among senior stakeholders with various different backgrounds and lead into a decision.

  • Strong understanding of platform, web, and mobile app solutions.

  • Ability to facilities into one solution among various constrains and contradicting limitations.

  • Ability to stand your ground for solutions you think will benefit the team as a whole, and keep the development process moving forward in the right direction

  • Detail oriented and capable of leading or directly managing both an individual and a team.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary cross functional teams.

  • Have experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, scrum-master.

  • Proven and successful track record with bringing a product and team from early stages to a finalized and polished product.

  • Experience writing clear and concise yet comprehensive Product Requirements documents and other specifications (PRD).

  • Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics for engineering development, test development and execution, bugs, issues, risks, and other aspects of project and program management.

  • Experience in developing commercial software products.

Experience Preferred:

Experience with sensors, medical tools or medical/combination devices and companion apps, or digital products in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Experience with regulatory (FDA, CE), privacy (HIPAA), and security constraints and requirements

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree and 10 plus years' of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 7 plus years' of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.

Education Preferred:

Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field, and MBA
