Cambridge Mobile Telematics Senior Product Manager (Cloud/Mobile/IoT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Senior Product Manager will help shape the future of CMT's emerging telematics and video products. They will focus on understanding the market for these new products as well as evangelizing them. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with external customers and partners, as well as internal CMT sales and program management groups to understand business needs and use cases. They will help manage the roadmap for their product and lead priority discussions. Also, they will collaborate closely with our engineering group regarding the feature specifications and technical feasibility, as well as the product development, testing and release. Finally, as the product expert, they will collaborate with our Product Marketing group to promote their product in the market and support our customers/partners with product implementations.
Responsibilities
Be an evangelist for their product both internally and externally
Own and maintain a product roadmap, including long-term vision, goals and prioritization
Collect and maintain a solid understanding of their product's use cases based on input from customers, prospects, sales, and market analyses
Bring innovative, differentiating product ideas for consideration for the roadmap
Participate in customer and sales meetings to hear and better understand customer needs
Write business requirements for features for their product based on use cases and in some cases, create initial wireframes to illustrate them
Create JIRA Epics/Stories for communicating the requirements to engineering
Lead sprint planning and daily standups
Define metrics for determining success of new features, track these metrics and adjust the roadmap accordingly
Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B environment
Comfort with full-stack technology (mobile, data, cloud, web)
Desire to be hands-on and get things done
Desire to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment
Passionate about new technologies
Ability to quickly get up to speed on new technologies and systems
Excellent communication and writing skills
Comfortable presenting products clearly and succinctly to customers, prospects and at conferences
Ability to juggle requirements and coordinate product development across multiple engineering groups
Working knowledge of Agile methodology
Experience with IoT devices and their firmware (nice-to-have)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technology-related field
