SMMA Senior Marketing Coordinator in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Essential for this role is the ability to produce and support marketing initiatives with clear, concise, accurate and compelling messages that reflect SMMA?s business goals and brand strategy. The successful candidate will help build a consistent and positive brand image assisting with client engagement, market research, and supporting additional special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of client-focused messaging and engagement strategies facilitating the creation of compelling proposals and presentation materials in support of SMMA?s business initiatives.

  • Share responsibility for writing content for various media and campaigns in support of SMMA?s promotional strategy.

  • Contribute and participate in a variety of initiatives as needed to support business development, internal, and external communications including website and social media.

  • Responsible for layouts and updates to company marketing materials, including award submissions, presentations, brochures, emails, infographics, corporate templates, and the corporate website.

  • Create, format and maintain standard marketing materials (resumes/bios, project sheets, project lists, narratives, image library, and other standard graphics).

    Requirements:

  • A Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, and/or Public Relations is strongly preferred .

  • 5 years of experience, ideally in an A/E/C Marketing or Communications role, or similar Marketing experience preferred.

  • Experience developing qualification and proposal submissions.

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment while responding to changing priorities.

  • Good writing voice and passion for storytelling including copy editing and proofreading skills.
