Senior Consultant – CRM Strategy, Omnichannel Client Enablement
The Senior Consultant (SC) is a flex role that encompasses aspects of external client relationship management and internal stakeholder and process management. SCs work closely with our Engagement Managers and Consultants to keep track of all the moving pieces along the way for a project before providing insights (the “so what” behind data) to clients. A great senior consultant can form healthy relationships with clients, AORs, and internal teams, is an analytical thinker, and is able to manage projects successfully.
Senior Consultants should be intellectually curious and should want to learn. They understand the modern-day multi-channel marketing ecosystem & the analytics used to measure performance, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical spaces. The role has many opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement, with a unique exposure to both the “back-end” of healthcare data and the more visible aspects as well, including its impact and influence on national promotional programs.
Develop CRM programs that align with brand KPIs and deliver messaging to address key moments of need within the customer/HCP journey based on insights & analytics.
Deliver omni-channel campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels/devices/technology, as relevant to the customer experience.
Partner with clients to implement meaningful messaging that differentiates the brand and engages consumers and/or HCPs.
Understand and enhance segment-specific strategies and develop cross-channel programs and initiatives that increase key performance indicators.
Create business cases for new engagement opportunities and get buy-in from key clients and stakeholders.
Communicates with operations, data management, and insights teams to understand potential timing, technological, and reporting limitations. Helps to problem-solve issues that arise across these groups.
Partner with Engagement Managers to ensure deliverables meet scope of work and support client success.
Proactively mentors, coaches, develops talent, and shares subject matter expertise across the team.
Establish a culture of curiosity, continuous optimization, and innovation within the team to ensure ongoing insight generation as well as value creation for client engagements.
Cultivate new business opportunities through the identification of follow-up work, new leads, and maintaining and strengthening client base.
3-4 years of experience within CRM, email, SMS, marketing, media, analytics or other relevant fields.
2-3 years of direct or indirect client engagements.
At least 1-2 years of experience within consumer or HCP pharmaceutical marketing.
Strong experience in engagement and retention marketing throughout different portions of the lifecycle.
Proven ability in synthesizing and interpreting data and customer insights into successful marketing strategies.
Strong strategy and analytics skills, with an advanced understanding of success metrics
Experience developing, prioritizing, objectively managing roadmaps and optimization efforts, balancing both business and user KPIs.
Effective time management skills: experience managing multiple accounts and ability to switch between tasks/priorities based on need.
Ability to build healthy relationships across matrixed organizational structures and manage non-direct employee relationships.
Ability to learn from, and influence, others with your expertise and communication skills
Experience working with SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
Experience building meaningful PowerPoint decks.
Ability to synthesize complex concepts and simplify into meaningful discussions for client facing deliverables.
Preferred Additional Areas of Experience:
Understanding of Anonymized Patient Level Data (APLD) assets or Healthcare Provider (HCP) promotions data
Grasps the media planning landscape and how media is purchased
Knowledge of advertising campaign management and optimization
Strong understanding of one or more areas of media consumption data, such as digital direct and programmatic display, Paid search, print, over-the-top (OTT), or television
Data visualization tool experience, e.g. interpreting data and creating presentations that tell a story
