Cambridge Mobile Telematics SDK Product Manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is on a mission to make the world’s roads and drivers safer. Our first product launched in 2012 and pioneered mobile usage-based insurance. Since then, CMT has become the world’s leading telematics and analytics provider for insurers, rideshares, personal safety providers, and automakers, providing telematics services for 80 enterprise programs in 20 countries. Powered by mobile sensing, artificial intelligence, and behavioral science, we measure driving quality, incentivize safer driving, assist users in crashes in real time, and improve the safety for millions of drivers every day around the world.
As the SDK product owner, you will report to the Senior Director of Product for Platform and work closely with other product managers, technical leads, and leadership to set the SDK product vision and roadmap. You will translate this vision into user stories for the engineering team and guide scrum teams in prioritizing feature development and managing their backlogs. You will be responsible for defining and scheduling periodic SDK releases and will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver them on time. When SDK production issues arise that require engineering support, you will collaborate with Technical Support and customer-facing groups to help assess the situation and provide a timely response from R&D.
The SDK collects data from millions of users every day into our DriveWell Platform across a diverse set of mobile, IoT, and cloud services. This technology enables our partners to better price insurance risk, support their end users in the event of a car crash, and promote safer driving overall. Your success in this role will have a direct impact on the growth of CMT’s business by accelerating adoption of our SDK across multiple verticals such as insurance, carmakers, security, and rideshare companies.
