Philips Sales, Business Development Manager, e-Commerce (Home Based) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The e-Commerce Business Development Manager is a member of the Therapeutic Care NA leadership team. This individual will focus on developing e-Commerce channels to drive AED sales while contributing to the broader channels strategy for AED sales to all markets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with sales leadership, Field Marketing and the Business Unit to develop, execute, and measure the channel strategy focusing on e-Commerce sales. Develop digital marketing strategy, placement, A&P, pricing, MAP compliance

  • Be responsible for monthly forecast of e-Commerce orders in SFDC

  • Drive the strategy and be accountable for growing the current AED volume through Amazon

  • Identify & implement new e-commerce opportunities to grow business on e-commerce platforms including: Sam’s Club, Best Buy Health, Costco

  • Utilize Amazon Vendor Central to monitor KPIs, create cases for chargeback disputes, manage returns, complaints, warranty activations, announcements, product incidents, customer reviews & questions

  • Manage wholesaler relationship responsible for e-Commerce fulfillment

  • Continuously evolve e-commerce strategy by identifying trends, using sales analytics, observing customer behaviors and gathering market insights

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing functions to manage e-Commerce channels

  • Build regular cadence with all Philips Healthcare functions to drive awareness and ensure departmental capabilities exist to support e-Commerce strategy, meet operational KPIs, avoid chargebacks:

In order to succeed in the role:

  • 5+ years of experience working in e-commerce business or channel development on large platforms (Amazon, Costco, Best Buy)

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related discipline

  • Healthcare experience a plus

  • Strong strategic Business drive and experience in development of new business models (e.g. subscriptions, pay-per-use,...)

  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

  • Experience developing long term strategies

  • Self-starter, hunter with ability to gather stakeholders and build consensus

  • Strong business orientation – ability to understand and explain business results and translate into financial consequences.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, ability to represent the company in front of customers, industry organizations and lead changes.
