Microsoft Corporation Sales Advisor Manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Managing an expanding team of Sales Advisors that are responsible for the day to day operational performance of a multimillion dollar revenue generating program across over 20 Markets in EMEA. The Sales Advisor role works closely with our pre-sales & retention Delivery Partners closely, ensuring we maximize performance and drive a strong sales pipeline either direct to customer, via Inside Sales or Partner. The role is accountable to build and coach the team that is building relationships with the Delivery Partner to become recognized as a trusted advisor & mentor to their advocates, trainers and coaches. In addition, identifying gaps in processes / procedure, handling complex escalations as well as proactively removing sales blockers via readiness recommendations are core responsibilities that help deliver results unhindered & operations run smoothly. Along with a close working relationship with our Delivery Partners, the Sales Advisor Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders & the global Sales Advisor community to share learnings & insight as well as influence the development of readiness plus drive recommendation to enhance product & marketing needs in support to his/her team.

Influences and guides delivery Partners to meet future needs
Work to achieve goals and respond effectively to changing priorities, maintaining team energy and results
Lead the team to foster innovate approaches to maximize sales opportunities & collaborate to improve readiness
Leverages expertise to help implement & positively influence global direction
Identify and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration
Partner and collaborate with other teams on related deliverables, and effectively leverage others in relevant work streams.
Remove barriers by working with others around a shared need or customer benefit
Acts as a trusted resource and advisor to a wide network of colleagues with diverse personalities
Conduct regular 1:1’s, connects and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to help improve the performance of the team
Proven experience in building, developing and coaching a successful team
Hands on managerial experience preferably within a sales/pre-sales or customer retention environment – 2 years+ required
Previous experience with working with contact center suppliers
Deep operational experience working with supplier’s day to day
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors/suppliers/delivery Partners
Proven experience in driving results
Self-motivated, independent thinker who can deal with ambiguity
Good verbal and written communication skills
