Aurora is seeking an experienced Proposal Graphics Developer and Integration Professional/Editor to produce effective, clean and creative materials, in a supportive role for the proposal team. The graphic developer is responsible for delivering creative and adaptive concepts from conceptualization through final product for a multitude of products and audiences, including proposal graphics and select corporate projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround, team-based work environment and have the ability to handle multiple proposals -- meeting deadlines with a high level of skill, utilizing a range of design and publishing tools.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or visual communications (or similar discipline) plus 5+ years of top-level graphic design experience; OR combination of equivalent work experience, education or training such as Government Proposal Graphics Training and Certification (APMG, OST, etc.)

  • Ability to conceptualize and design persuasive proposal graphics.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the various types of graphics from simple boxes and flow charts to high fidelity 3-D renderings used in the development of proposal documentation

  • Comprehensive knowledge in the use and application of MS PowerPoint, MS Word and PDF and other graphics development and publishing applications for the development, integration and publishing of proposal documentation

  • Expert in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

  • Strong artistic ability, including desktop publishing experience, oral presentation development skills, and experience visualizing data into appealing layouts and multimedia products

  • Experience using SharePoint as the configuration management and collaborative vault for developing proposals and for knowledge capture

  • Experience with DoD, DARPA, AFRL and NASA type proposals

Desired Requirements

  • Experience and training in editing for proposals (OST, B&P Academy) is a plus

  • Experience as technical writer is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work extended hours on occassion to meet customer deadlines
