Raytheon Technologies Proposal Analyst II in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Raytheon BBN is looking for a Technical Writer & Editor to craft compelling proposals and other technical documentation. The successful candidate must be able to interpret and explain technical concepts in clear, concise prose; be a self-starter, work effectively on an individual basis as well as part of a team; and able to plan workflows to meet deadlines.

What you will do
•
Evaluate proposal requirements
•
Work with technical staff to understand proposal approach
•
Review, edit, and proofread all components of proposals for clarity, completeness, and conformity to requirements.
What you need
•
Bachelors degree in Technical Communications or a related field.
•
Ability to digest scientific and/or technical data and translate it into clear and concise written material for a semi-technical audience
•
Relevant experience developing technical proposals and documentation
•
Relevant experience creating storyboards to organize a proposal and proposal writing efforts.
•
Willingness to apply for and be granted US Government security clearance.
US citizenship required
Additional education and experience that would be awesome
•
3 to 4 years of related experience coordinating proposals in a proposal environment.
•
Ability to extract requirements from a BAA, RFP, RPP, or equivalent and to construct a compliance matrix, and to ensure that a proposal satisfies all the requirements and expresses them in the terms and language of the solicitation.
•
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
•
Meaningful team player—able to work well in a team environment
•
Excellent communications skills, and, in particular, excellent writing skills
•
Technical background—ability to write about technical systems and to interpret engineering data
•
Excellent computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite tools (Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
•
Ability to work in agile environments with rapid deadlines, and multiple, ongoing projects
•
Excellent organizational skills, including time organization, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
•
Exceptional proof reading skills
•
Current US Government security clearance is highly desired
