PREDOCTORAL RESEARCHER, Economics, to support work at all stages of the research process on research projects in environmental economics, the economics of innovation, and political economy; work on research projects with Professor Jacob Moscona and his group of collaborators, including faculty at MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, and Berkeley; engage directly in the research process, including but not limited to building project pipelines, cleaning and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews and searches for new data, and writing grant proposals and papers; meet regularly with Prof. Moscona to discuss their work, exchange ideas, and receive feedback; and be fully integrated into the research community at MIT. The position is ideally suited to those planning to attend graduate school in economics, computer science, data science or a related field.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field; a minimum of two years of specialized experience with qualitative data analysis, research methods, social sciences (which may include experience gained as an undergraduate); robust quantitative and programming skills in Stata and time & project management skills.
