Position Description
The John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in power systems engineering, beginning in September 2025, or soon thereafter. The position is for one year initially and may be renewed for up to two additional years, contingent upon funding and mutual agreement. The candidate will work closely with Professor Le Xie as he sets up his new lab at Harvard.

Basic Qualifications
PhD in electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science,
engineering, physics, or similar fields by the expected start date.
Additional Qualifications
Applicant should ideally have some experience in electric power systems, artificial
intelligence, and optimization. We particularly encourage applicants with expertise in
power systems, economics, or artificial intelligence. A successful candidate is driven and
independent, as the lab will be brand new, and the candidate will be responsible for
helping the PI to start new projects and help mentor new graduate and undergraduate
students.
