Philips Partnership Execution Lead in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In General Care Solutions, we are a leading global vital sign monitoring player and poised to drive cutting-edge innovation to improve patient outcomes. To create winning E2E solutions that meet our customers’ needs for seamless interoperability our solutions need to work seamlessly across traditional business lines, including partners outside of Philips (EMRs, key strategic customers, startups), with the broader Philips business team (CDS, HPM, MCS, OB and beyond) and markets. To successfully execute on these solutions, we’re searching for a highly qualified Business Excellence Innovation Manager. From day one, the BEI lead will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing project execution, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on data driven decision making and interdepartmental collaboration.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

Objectives of this Role

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of GC leadership, with an initial focus on recent acquisitions (CDS), innovations and software partners

  • Assist and communicate with decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

  • Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling initiatives and developing data-driven action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications

  • Own key partnership initiatives internally / externally, bringing structure and speed to achieve pre-aligned KPIs

  • Develop senior leadership ready presentations and meeting preparation when relevant

  • Identify and support brand-development opportunities, creating a coalition of experts and industry partners

  • Leverage internal COEs and central teams to move with speed

  • Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies

You are part of:

General Care solutions is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of patient monitoring systems and solutions throughout the care continuum of patients in the hospitals. You will be part of the marketing team that is focusing on both upstream and downstream marketing deliverables, including new product development and go-to-market strategies. Philips hospital patient monitoring is the global market leader and in the heart of Connected Care and Philips Healthcare. This position is ideally based in Cambridge, MA, USA, and you will report to the leader of obstetrics monitoring solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field

  • 7+ years in a business or executive management role

  • Experience influencing without authority including multiple teams and departments

  • Experience with data analysis (ex: customer segmentation, ability to interpret financial results)

  • Customer-needs-first mindset

  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

  • Ability to prioritize

  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

  • Entrepreneurial and with affinity for healthcare business,

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across borders

  • Experience with budget management

  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management

  • Proven success in a project coordination role

  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions

  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
