Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Oracle RGBU NA is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with provenexperience in omnichannel marketing.
SolutionArchitects provide deep knowledge of the functional and technical aspects of omnichannelmarketing and the role of the retail customer experience solutions in aretailer s marketing portfolio. TheSolution Architect is responsible for providing deep domain knowledge within asales cycle, understand a retailer s marketing objectives, and providedemonstrations of the functional and technical aspects of our solution andpositioning the solution along with the Oracle Cloud into various retailverticals.
Understanding the marketing objectives of our prospects and how the Oracle Retail customer experience platform can help to achieve these objectives.
Broad knowledge of Oracle Retail solutions focused on Omnichannel marketing and retailing
Support & maintain pre-sales engagements for the designated products with the NA sales teams including driving RFI/RFP efforts as necessary.
Provide industry expertise to prospects
Crafting, selling, and differentiating Oracle Retail solutions based upon retail customer requirements, business pains and value.
Presenting and articulating advanced product features and business benefits and the overall Oracle solutions value proposition.
Articulating the value of the Oracle Cloud and SaaS services
Designing, validating, preparing and presenting Oracle software solutions including advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Configuration of demonstration environments to best address a customer s requirements.
Working jointly with the account manager to manage the sales cycle and people involved effectively.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years marketing expertise either within an application vendor, a systems integrator or with a Retailer
A minimum of 3 years experience across pre-sales/sales or management preferred
Experience working in a Cloud service company a plus
Good understanding of gathering customer requirements and aligning these with product capabilities versus customization and enhancements
Good understanding of integration (both system- and user-) concepts, terms and technologies.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with prospects/customers and partners are essential.
Must be organized, able to prioritize and work on own initiative.
Education to BS degree or equivalent is required
Thisrole requires regular travel throughout North America.
