You are responsible for

  • Ensuring a strong voice of the Customer/User is put at the heart of proposition development, launch, and on-going performance management and opportunity identification.

  • Synthesizing all sources of customer/user feedback, competitive intelligence, pricing, market/industry trends, etc. and distill clear insights that ultimately lead to business growth.

  • Leading primary research into customer/user needs that allows Philips to know the customer/user better than anyone else, while seeking faster, higher quality, and more cost-effective ways of gaining insights.

  • Guiding and managing consultants and or outside vendors to translate business questions into a well-scoped projects and providing feedback to vendor’s work product/process, to successfully and efficiently meet business needs.

  • Leveraging past learning and customer testing frameworks to become more predictive in driving for winning propositions, including services and solutions.

  • Applying state-of-the-art research and insight tools and technologies (e.g. AI in insight generation), to orchestrate implementation of standardized tools to drive for efficiencies, optimization and learning.

  • Partnering and potentially sparring with Marketers to identify user/customer needs, tensions, and potential solutions that address those tensions.

  • Defining audience, customer, and user need spaces (including white spaces) based on economic, clinical and health economic trends and translating them into business opportunities in close collaboration with internal partners.

You are part of

Marketing Insights & Analytics group, which is an enabling function for Philips. You will be reporting directly to the

Market Insights & Analytics Leader for Proposition Insights.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • BSc or MSc degree in marketing, business (required) and 3+ years of working experience, in customer focused, complex, matrixed, multinational environment (healthcare or medical device Marketing roles – preferred)

  • Ability to apply customer insights methods and approaches and comfort with emerging and innovative insights and analytics techniques, tools/platforms

  • Ability to navigate a matrixed and highly complex organization while building relationships and trust

  • Comfortable being resourceful and finding teammates who can help to achieve desired results

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, agendas, and projects simultaneously

  • Experience with research, analysis, and problem solving; conducting desk research, aggregating and sifting through information from multiple sources to generate integrated reports and strategic insights

  • Effective Communication – written and oral communication professionalism for senior audiences
