MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATE, List Visual Arts Center (multiple openings), to perform--with minimal supervision--complex and diverse communication-based functions in support of the List Visual Arts Center. The primary duties of this position are three fold--maintaining and managing the List Center website, managing all social media accounts, and producing all digital and printed communications. Will report to the communications and development manager and collaborate with curatorial and education staff on strategically planning, developing, and implementing communication strategies across several platforms. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least one year of social media and web-based communication management experience; excellent administrative, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, writing, communication, and copy-editing skills; initiative; advanced-level computer skills in a MacIntosh environment using Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator); basic understanding of website backend management and formatting on Mailchimp; and ability and willingness to learn new software programs as needed. Must be able to multitask, set and manage competing priorities and project timelines, and work effectively with outside vendors.
