About the role:
Our Global Corporate Brand & Communications (GCBC) organization is taking on big challenges to support Takeda’s vision. The new role of Manager, Global Corporate Digital Media supports and implements a comprehensive social and digital media strategy in a cohesive way, aimed at increasing traffic, engagement, and brand awareness across digital touch points. As part of the broader global team based in the U.S. and Japan, you will report to Lead, Global Corporate Social Media.
How you will contribute:
Manage daily activities of the corporate social platform and accounts including the calendar, training, troubleshooting, analytics access, admin rights, business managers, etc.
Keep all governance, approval flows, policies and playbooks up to date
Help business, functional and regional groups across Takeda to use social media, being a liaison and subject matter expert
Ensure content follows social media best practices, social policies and governance, templates, and brand guidance etc.
Compile analytics and insights reports for global corporate social channels
Manage daily monitoring for reporting requirements, outreach and community engagement, and evaluate or escalate issues
Additional support across the GCBC team with assisting in the development and execution of ad hoc digital or social programs, employee amplification programs, executive social presence, best practices, etc.
Support global corporate websites with content management and governance coverage
Support amplification of optimization efforts and reporting for global websites
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in communications, marketing, digital media) or high school diploma and experience in communications
3 or more years’ experience in social media, marketing, communications, healthcare or pharmaceutical experience preferred
Working knowledge of primary social platforms, management platforms (Khoros) and their functionalities
Experience working in an international structure with varied cultures and time zones
Ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented, intuitive thinker who asks probing questions and anticipates and addresses needs
Keen interest in staying current with industry trends and updates that directly and indirectly affect social media and digital practices
