Meet Our Team:
The Pega Community Creative team supports the Pega Community product managers and content stakeholders from around Pega to create engaging multimedia content for multiple Pega digital properties including Pega Community, Pega Academy, and Pega Marketplace, among others. This team is responsible for managing each site’s brand in conjunction with corporate marketing as well as building pages using Pega’s internal design system and producing graphics and videos designed to enable and engage the Pega professional ecosystem.

This role will be an integral part of the Pega Community Creative team, helping to produce compelling multimedia content to accelerate learning for Pega’s growing developer ecosystem. They will work closely with the Community team and stakeholders from around the organization to ensure web graphics, video assets, and marketing collateral is leveraged in impactful ways around Pega’s digital properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design.
What You'll Do at Pega:
Defining objectives during the discovery process in order to decide which design formats and tools are best to use for the business challenge at hand.
Visual problem solving - deconstructing complex information to simplify and abstract for easier audience digestion.
Process thinking - addressing design challenges and can clearly articulating a step-by-step approach for a final solution.
Collaborate with the Video team to provide optimized graphics to enhance Pega Academy training lessons, Community Video Library and other promotional video work.
Develop internal and external marketing collateral that can be delivered both in print and digital format
Assist with visual graphics that enhance Pega Community and its digital properties. This would include web banners, image assets for landing pages, wireframing/ visual mockups to present to stakeholders for approval.
Work closely with stakeholders, creative team, and the corporate video team to deliver finalized concepts for publication to various Pega digital properties.
Organize design assets within Pega’s corporate Digital Asset Management system.
Assist in converting stakeholder scripts and storyboards in to compelling stories, accelerating the enablement of Pega’s growing developer ecosystem

What You've Accomplished:
BA/BS degree, preferably in Digital Media or Communications
1 - 3 years of experience in a design role within a team-setting
Proven graphic design skills, backed by a strong portfolio
Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and web/print optimization
Wide knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts relating to print and web environments and how they differ.
Familiar with Information Architecture and content strategy.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud graphics programs including: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Knowledge of basic CSS and HTML
Ability to parse complex information and convey it in a meaningful and creative way
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Must be able to work well with deadlines and pivot quickly
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with Sketch, InVision or other UI/UX wireframing tools a plus
Worked with a Design System
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate or equivalent motion graphics software
Experience with Apple Keynote, Microsoft Powerpoint, Camtasia
Experience with video editing software including Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere
