In this role, you have the opportunity to

Build the executive-level strategic partnership between IT and the North America Market teams in sales and marketing. Proactively identifies opportunities to gain competitive advantage through Information Technology.

You are responsible for

  • Participating in the strategic planning process with business to understand market business priorities and impact on information systems and technologies

  • Providing insights of new technology developments and advice on how this can impact/contribute the business strategy.

  • Ensuring the support of IT and Market stakeholders to drive the business information plan as required.

  • Monitoring quality, progress and performance of programs and taking all necessary corrective actions to ensure that all elements of the business information plans are being delivered

  • Collaborating with an IT Multidisciplinary team to deliver business value via Philips IT Applications and Philips IT Infrastructure.

  • Provide domain expertise and leadership for the Market/Function at the senior levels of the organization. In doing so, they provide direct support to the CIO and Head of IT Business-Market Engagement IT across topics such as IT/Business strategy and road mapping and shaping outcomes via IT to support business needs.

  • Building strong relationships with business stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders in the Market with a focus on sales and marketing

  • Driving the efficient resolution of complex pain-points and other IT issues within the Business/Market impacting productivity.

You are a part of

The IT Business Partner Commercial Health Systems North America will be part of the Market Engagement horizontal in the new IT Operating Model. They will team up with ITBPs across the Engagement teams to understand the needs of our customers and define executable plans that meet the strategic plans of our business-market combinations. They will team up with Enterprise Architecture and Information & Data Management teams to lead executable plans. They will partner with global business process owner and transformation program managers (i.e. Market to Order, Digital Marketing) to define the capability backlog and ensure plans are executed efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Expertise with Marketing and Sales processes and underlying IT capabilities required to support Philips customers throughout their customer journey.

  • Knowledge of the end to end processes required in the sale and marketing domain along with the supporting technologies (e.g. Salesforce CRM, Lead Management, Event Management, Digital Marketing, Analytics)

  • Master’s degree recommended in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field.

  • A minimum of 10 years of IT and business work experience with broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.

  • Solid experience with managing teams.

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of IT landscape relating to Market/Function with a view of new technologies or advancements that may provide future benefits.

  • Track record of driving process improvements with users, process experts and IT and playing an advisory role.

  • Builds excellent relationships with market stakeholders and is considered a trusted advisor by senior stakeholders in the Market/Function and IT organizations. Powerful communications & influencing - Skilled in listening, persuading, influencing, and shaping understanding. Communicate win-win scenarios, surface disconnects and work to resolve problems. They can say “no” by offering meaningful alternatives.
