The Market Intelligence Insights and Analytics Lead serves as a key thought leader generating insights that will direct the Phillips Connected Care business, marketing, and sales management teams in our North America enterprise. This person plays a key role establishing market demand and opportunity for Philips patient monitoring, virtual health, mobile monitoring, sleep and respiratory care businesses and larger Connected Care solutions. The right candidate will establish a regular cadence of analytics, news reporting, and primary research reports to proactively deliver insights on marketing strategy in a highly data-driven organization. This person works in collaboration with other Insights and Analytics Managers and Specialists covering complementary terrains to develop the right internal reports and presentations to inform our North America health care marketing strategy.
You are responsible for (but not limited to):
Generating insights from deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources to provide thoughtful and relevant sales and marketing recommendations to Philips businesses.
Reporting on the implications of health care industry trends including health system M&A, integration, clinical service line enhancement, and access to care expansions on purchasing segments, senior executive decision making, and buying behavior.
Advising our business partners on the implications of a wide array of competitor intelligence in the imaging, clinical informatics, virtual health, EMR, and digital health markets.
Act as a project leader owning the research and problem solving with business leaders and team peers to address unique questions regarding market visibility, market opportunity, market segmentation, and market sales performance.
Integrate the best sources of data and supervise data mining and alignment across multiple platforms including SAP, Siebel, Excel, and Salesforce. Where data is not available, the role will also create alternative scenarios to increase market visibility.
Effectively make the case for business decisions using data visualization products such as Qlik, Tableau and Salesforce Einstein, and PowerPoint.
Make presentations that include recommendations on marketing and sales investment using data-driven insights, summary analysis of news and trends, and comprehensive review of purchasing personas and behaviors. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree minimum, MBA a plus. Concentration in health care economics, data science, marketing and/or marketing research preferred.
5+ years of analytical and/or publishing experience on the US health care market including a deep understanding of how providers interface with technology in the areas of clinical operations, population health management and virtual care delivery.
Knowledge of Philips product markets a plus – especially patient monitoring, sleep and respiratory solutions, clinical informatics, and virtual care
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Deep experience working with data and ACCESS databases
Solid understanding of statistical techniques
Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and collaboration skills but also ability to perform as a self-starter and work autonomously
Proven database and presentation development (PowerPoint) skills
