Our Team:

We are seeking a highly strategic, motivated, and visionary leader interested in shaping the early identification of people at risk of developing Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). This individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the US strategy for accelerated T1D screening with Pediatricians & Primary Care Physicians.

As the “Head of T1D Early Detection,” this person will lead a cross functional team empowered to develop and execute the US strategy to accelerate T1D screening. This individual will be expected to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrix organization with significant interactions with Brand Marketing, Sales, Market Research, Human Resources, Medical, Finance, Analytics, Business Operations and Senior Leadership. This role will lead a team of 1 operations lead, 2 marketers and 1 sales leader and will report to the General Manager of Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Role Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the successful development of the US accelerated T1D Screening Strategy

  • Oversee the execution of the US T1D screening strategy with Marketing, Sales and other field based teams to effectively drive education, awareness and adoption of T1D screening with Pediatricians & Primary Care Physicians

  • Partner with the Head of Tzield Marketing and Head of Key Account Management team to align on business objectives and priorities, and ensure strong execution.

  • Engage within highly functional matrix teams with effective communication, partnership and collaboration.

  • Ensure consistency in messaging across external stakeholders, in strong partnership with the Tzield marketing team.

  • Manage and report on screening performance with emphasis on market analytics and measuring key performance indicators.

  • Identify key opportunities and partnerships to improve T1D screening and monitoring by identifying new diagnostic channels and methodologies while always ensuring appropriate compliance assessment and validation.

  • In partnership with the Tzield marketing, medical and advocacy teams (and other internal stakeholders), lead national/regional/local screening initiatives/programs, as well as the development and dissemination of screening/monitoring guidelines & consensus statements.

  • Attract, develop, and retain a best-in-class team

About you

Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing or business required; advanced degree preferred.

  • At least 15+ leaders of senior leadership experience across marketing and sales organizations with proven track record of success

  • Previous experience leading P&L ownership decisions, defining product strategy and operating budgets

  • Demonstrated experience building and creating positive and impactful culture and retaining top talents

  • Prior experience in type 1 diabetes or rare diseases where screening is needed, is desired.

  • Specialty care experience is a plus.

  • Commercial experience in Pediatric and Primary Care markets.

  • Pharma industry experience in Commercial leadership required.

Technical skills :

  • Deep experience and expertise in national health initiatives for disease screening, or launching products requiring monitoring/screening, is a must

  • Experience in building partnerships with screening infrastructure players and in developing data-driven solutions, including AI to monitor and identify people at risk

  • Experience in product launch & launch excellence

  • Readiness to travel (up to 35% of time)

Languages : Strong communication and presentation skills in English required
