Abt Associates Global Development Digital Solutions Strategist in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Opportunity

Digital Solutions Strategist: Working closely with Abt US, Abt Australia and the Head of ITP, to lead the development and implementation of a digital strategy for Abt Britain, to define its value proposition in this space and grow its portfolio of programmes (aligned to Abt’s global digital strategy)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with the global account leads to identify the opportunities requiring digital and reflecting the digital content in OMS

  • Work with others in the digital horizontal to design solutions that will meet emerging USAID digital needs and differentiate Abt as an USAID partner of choice

  • Work with others in the digital horizontal on the building of those solutions at the right price point

  • Work with the digital horizontal to understand and leverage existing Abt platforms for Global Development (e.g., MEL platform, grants management platform)

  • Work with bid teams to integrate those solutions into bids, including contributing the writing of proposal content to meet the needs of the bid

  • Contribute to the knowledgebase of the One Abt Digital Team

  • Stay current in digital best practices, tool, and relevant privacy laws and data regulations through internal and external connections, trainings, and conferences

  • Collaborates with the communications team to market and promote Abt’s digital offerings, case studies, and differentiators

  • Maintain and build a network of global digital delivery partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Substantial experience of supporting or working on the delivery of digital for USAID or other funding organizations

  • Knowledge of/ Thought leadership relating to the direction of digital in the Global South and other developing nations

  • Ability to work across thematic subject matter experts (Climate, Gender, Governance, Health and Economic Development) and the digital team to conceptualize and architect digital solutions

  • High degree of aptitude for complex stakeholder management and relationship building

  • Proven experience contributing and writing proposals for digital solutions as part of successful multi-million tenders would be an asset

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Ten years of relevant experience, or PhD+ Eight years of relevant experience

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $120,888.08 to $193,420.92 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
