The Director US Consumer Marketing, Respiratory will be responsible for helping lead the development, execution and measurement of all key marketing strategies and tactics to support the approved indications in Asthma and Nasal Polyps .
Key responsibilities start with developing an intimate and thorough understanding of core patient needs to inform and guide all aspects of patient engagement. Consumer Respiratory Marketing Director will be responsible for developing the core consumer messaging and creative campaigns. Additional responsibilities are to design, execute, and monitor the consumer branded promotional programs, such as in-office advertising and promotion, videos, search (paid and organic), display, CRM, and social media channels. This role will also ensure that all key strategies are aligned with HCP, Payer, and broader portfolio priorities.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the Respiratory US Dupilumab Consumer marketing efforts for Asthma and Nasal Polyps
Partner with the consumer agencies to develop strategies, deliver tactics, and consumer media plans
Work closely with and manage outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute consumer programs
Work with market research to develop and execute research and measurement testing needed to develop programs and project and measure expected returns/success
Manage strategy of and day-to-day activities for patient ambassador programs
Brand lead for the Joint Review Committee (JRC); oversee all JRC meetings and coordinate OPDP submission of launch materials with the regulatory review/approval process
Support the development and management of the Dupilumab Respiratory marketing budget
Work effectively within the established corporate and industry compliance guidelines
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Marketing, Global Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management and Finance
Close collaboration with alliance co-promote partners
Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
Consumer campaign (branded) development
DTC TV & On-Line Video creative development & execution
Consumer in-office and telehealth marketing strategy and promotion
Consumer segmentation and implementation strategies
Continuous assessment and validation of brand differentiation and reasons to believe
Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external)
Strong project management skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing an advertising agency and related budgets
Passionate, confident, articulate, and comfortable in a team environment
5-7+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries with 3+ years of Consumer Marketing.
Launch experience preferred,
MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience working in a Joint Venture/Alliance.
The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire.
