We are looking for a Business Program Manager with exceptional partnership and influencing skills that are matched by the discipline and systems understanding to drive effective, inclusive technical planning rhythms and orchestrate cross-functional strategic projects. In this role, you will represent Worldwide Learning in company-wide engineering planning & long-term strategy development, and drive business health target-setting for employee skilling programs.

This is a high-profile role with executive level visibility across Microsoft. You will distill complex topics into clear decisions, influence for impact, and facilitate conversations that challenge stakeholders to think about learning and technology in a different way. The right candidate will have highly relevant experience driving business rhythms across organizations and leading the delivery of high impact, complex technology workstreams. Responsibilities

  • Partner across HR & Engineering to drive Microsoft Learning Technology Roadmap and company-wide engineering planning rhythms

  • Lead process to collect and prioritize requirements, align with stakeholders, and provide executive review

  • Understand engineering requirements deeply, including solution options, implications and tradeoffs to facilitate prioritization and technical solutioning. Key representative for the org in engineering planning discussions, with responsibility to assess, influence, and advocate for technical solutions.

  • Orchestrate insights-driven Worldwide Learning Employee Skilling business health reviews focused on priority metrics, driving preparation and pre-read materials to align across org and incorporate stakeholder voices into impactful tools, visuals, and stories.

  • Define and lead process to define program success metrics, set targets, and align with business stakeholders for new fiscal year, and land these in reporting and business reviews.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of recent engineering or technical program management, sales or business operations or related experience

  • 3+ years experience leading technical planning rhythms, delivering roadmaps, or executing engineering/systems projects, with demonstrated success delivering gratifying customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience successfully driving process improvements and familiarity with planning methodologies and tools, with preferred exposure to Azure Dev Ops.

  • Proficient in data-driven storytelling via reports or visualization: known as a great communicator who frames complex analyses and tell succinct, impactful stories to all levels of the organization

  • Highly adaptable and strong collaborator, fierce advocate, and influencer

  • Track record of taking on highly complex challenges with and delivering results with high attention to detail and impeccable quality

  • Brings passion and energy to create a vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization and can motivate and inspire others

  • PowerBI or other visualization, business statistics & analysis skills strongly preferred

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience with job expectations is required
