As a Director of Business Analytics & Insights you will combine business strategy & digital vision and programmatic execution and you will be in a rare position to enable and accelerate the data-driven transformation of Services division across the business lifecycle. You will also spearhead transformation that covers end to end analytic lifecycle of key initiatives across various phases of services lifecycle. You will drive transformation through application of modern statistical, machine learning and AI approaches, based on modern Azure data platform that will help unlock business value through structured analytic workstreams. You will create new, scalable, and persona-based experiences to consume cutting edge insights for critical business outcomes by creating powerful narratives. You will partner with the Modern Analytics & Insights leadership team to help influence, support, and drive the organization’s vision, mission, and key business goals.

This role will require you to lead defining and solving business problems in an end-to-end manner, including the cross-functional ones within & outside Services Insights. You will need to be comfortable engaging with senior leaders and managing priorities in a fast-paced, complex matrix environment. You will have deep hands-on expertise on aspects of analytical frameworks including aspects of data engineering and data science/statistics required to create non-obvious insights for the business. A key requirement for this role will be to architect Descriptive, Inquisitive, Predictive, Prescriptive Insights by integrating, synthesizing, merging, and transforming the existing BI & reporting data engines. This role calls for a balance of collaborative leadership and influential skills across the team and beyond, in addition to supportive individual contributions. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated person who can solve complex business problems, prioritize, and setup scalable analytic programs & process for large scale deployments. You will work across multiple teams, must have the ability to think strategically at a global level, and effectively develop key analytic framework & machine learning approaches that drive exponential impact for high value workstreams. It’s also important for you to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside group, and accommodate the working styles of our diverse team.


  • Drive highly visible, high impact and complex analytic engagements impacting the data platform and reporting/analytics ecosystem.

  • Own the end-to-end insights creation-to-consumption lifecycle, leading business problem definition, hypotheses formulation, designing and delivering the solution.

  • Be Savvy in usage and application of advanced analytics concepts in the realm of Classification, Regression, Forecasting, Decision trees, NLP & other ML techniques to yield futuristic rich and bold insights.

  • Design holistic solution architectures for complex business problems across reporting ecosystem. Synthesize, merge, and transform the existing Insights capabilities with the new experiences.

  • Lead the next generation Analytics and BI experiences as a self-serve capability and modernized user experience.

  • Enable all stakeholders and leaders on prioritizing on the initiatives / workstreams / features / scenarios based on business value dimensions. Partner with leaders to frame, shape and execute on the critical insights for business decisions.

  • Engage broadly with multiple teams to frame, structure and prioritize business problems where insights can have the biggest impact.

  • Synthesize, merge, and transform the existing reporting/analytics capabilities with new experiences. Lead the next generation analytics experiences as a self-serve capability.

  • Drive the programmatic execution of prioritized analytic workstreams in an agile manner. Ensure no business disruption through the execution and landing.

  • Setup and drive multi-tiered governance process across prioritized work efforts, bringing all the business/engineering/analytics leads together.

  • Setup ongoing triage and rules of engagement with insight teams, supporting various functions, to drive the ongoing evolution of business in a consistent manner with the initiative’s charter/scope.

  • Drive the adoption of business insights with the intended personas to realize the business value.

  • Be an analytics thought leader and ensure high quality, adherence to best practices, high performance, and scalable, repeatable processes and deliverables.

  • Bias towards action by creating a contextual business narrative based on deep business understanding.


  • 10+ years of relevant experience in managing and/or running large scale and complex programs with focus on BI & Analytics.

  • 3+ years of people management, direct or indirect, hiring and retaining strong talent.

  • Strong experience in managing relationships with business leaders and executives, leading complex portfolio of engagements or programs, enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to engage with senior leaders and align as well as challenge their thinking.

  • Proven track record of shipping highly scalable and reliable analytical solutions through multiple cycles

  • Skills and experience in SQL, PowerBI or similar open-source BI tools or open-source platform and hands-on experience in machine learning and advanced statistical modelling techniques, including ability to interpret model results and communicate recommendations based on efficacy of application of analytics.

  • Proven skills or good understanding of the Azure cloud data platform

  • Experience in leading insights & analytics related engagements and partnering with teams that build complex analytical models.

  • Broad business acumen with the ability to translate abstract thoughts into understandable messages for wider consumption.

  • Exceptional influence without authority and excellent collaboration skills

  • Ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and subject matter experts. Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of relationship building.

  • Able to deal with ambiguity: can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.


  • Strong business acumen across a professional services organization

  • Hands-on skill in big data technologies and cloud data platforms

  • Experience in building robust solutions using Azure platforms and technologies.

Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere on the west coast of the United States, with a strong preference for Issaquah, WA. You can expect limited global travel, less than 10%.
