DIGITAL MEDIA STRATEGIST, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL)-Alliances Team, to play a key role on CSAIL’s Alliances team (https://cap.csail.mit.edu/) . Will contribute to outbound marketing and communication strategy to broaden relationships with member companies, prospects, and the public; maintain communications and quarterly research briefings; design and write content for various constituents; create and execute social media engagement plans; develop and maintain multiple websites; serve as liaison for new site development and ongoing site management; and develop print/digital marketing materials. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, English, or public relations; three years’ professional marketing, website, and/or social media management experience; experience developing and managing website content using a content management system; excellent writing, editorial, content development, proofreading, fact-checking, communication, interpersonal, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills; solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); working knowledge of the internet, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Pardot, and content management systems (e.g., Drupal); understanding of HTML; proficiency using and managing social networking channels (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn), wikis, and tools like Hootsuite or Trello; discretion with sensitive/confidential information; attention to detail; initiative; and a flexible approach to the work environment. Must be able to copyedit for grammar, spelling, accuracy, format, and tone; accept and integrate feedback, meet deadlines, and ensure quality expectations are met; track changes and consistency of written materials; prioritize multiple projects and competing demands and meet deadlines; and work independently and collaboratively across all levels in a fast-paced, team-based environment. PREFERRED: writing experience, interest in computer science and artificial intelligence, proficiency with Salesforce, and experience in digital marketing. Job #20222-7
