Department:Executive EducationPre-Employment Screening:Identity Job Function:Communications, General AdministrationJob-Specific Responsibilities:As a key member of the digital strategy team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will primarily manage day-to-day email marketing operations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and including strategic campaign planning, campaign execution, data segmentation, data syncing, performance analysis, and reporting. This digital-savvy marketer will also support digital advertising and social media initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Assistant Director, Digital Marketing and Marketing Technology Manager, assist with all aspects of email marketing campaigns that differentiate HBS Executive Education in the market and contribute to driving qualified program prospects and applicants

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Participant Marketing team to develop engaging email campaigns as determined by program needs

• Liaise with digital marketing team and identify campaign synergies across email, digital advertising and social; partner on creative strategies, optimization, and support as needed

• Understand the complexity of department’s advertising structure, strategy, process and relationships; assist as needed

• Coordinate project based needs with outside agencies, writers, proofreaders, and other vendors

• Keep current with digital marketing management standards, trends, policies, and best practices, and regularly share with the greater marketing team as appropriate

• Assist with email marketing and/or digital team budget management, organization, invoice processing, and contracts
