Google Design Manager, Services Mastery in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Go-to-Market organization within's Google's GBO business provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.The Mastery Team serves our GBO Sales, Services, and external customers with Ads product and skills training. We design and deliver training gTech agents supporting Google’s customers across the globe today. The team is on a journey to shift Google’s agent training towards a learning experience that is a centralized and highly blended.

As an Instructional Design Manager, you will serve as a player/coach, participating in design and leading a team of designers. You'll work with the Services Curriculum Management studio to identify the learning strategy and objectives and then build learning content to drive learner success. Additionally, you will report into the Global Head of Learning Design and Innovation and help set strategy for the broader Mastery Design team's goals and vision. In this role, you'll take initiative and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, work towards deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and collaborate across the Mastery Team and with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the greatest potential impact.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
