Consumer Experience Visual Design Lead


Consumer Experience (CX) Visual Design Lead, collaborates with a team of world-class multi-disciplinary designers to invent and deliver UX frameworks and features that align and extend the One Sanofi Experience and Design across all patients, customers and staffs on multi-devices. You will collaborate with research, product, and engineering partners across the organization to build customer-focused solutions at scale. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects forward in the face of ambiguity.


  • Fluency and experience in the design thinking process

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with research and human-centered design with a portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience solving complex challenges with simple user-centered design solutions

  • Experience with consumer brand experience design and a understanding of storytelling

  • Ability to extract complex concepts and quickly turn around rigorous flows and mockups reflecting a range of options

  • Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides

  • Additional design skills in related fields, including filmmaking, motion design, and prototyping is a plus

  • Experience in designing cross platform experiences

  • Ability to drive and close on design requirements independently

  • Experience working in design consulting where presentation to clients and executives are core proficiencies

  • Proficiency in presenting design work to user experience teams, product and engineering teams, and executives for review and feedback


  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field

  • 10+ years of experience as an interaction designer, user experience designer, or similar role

  • Strong design portfolio is a must

  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

  • Experience using best practices for mobile and web-based information architecture and design, as well as knowledge of usability principles and techniques

  • Experience in standard design tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially as they relate to presenting, articulating design decisions

  • Must be a vibrant and engaging communicator who can present concepts and ideas to all levels of the company

  • Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus.


  • Strong attention to detail, especially in crafting the ideas, education across different functional teams and following through with successful execution.

  • You bring the ability and interest to help lead cultural shifts in the organization including Digital transformation.

  • You are a vibrant and engaging storyteller and presentation abilities to all levels of the company.

  • You have an intellectual curiosity that inspires others around you.
