As a member of our Life Sciences team, you will advise clients on complex challenges related to market access strategy, pricing and reimbursement, value communications and health economics. As an integrated Practice with Commercial Strategy, you will also have the opportunity, if desired, to expand your professional development and manage projects focused on business development and licensing, portfolio optimization, medical technology and R&D strategy. In addition, we work with both US and Global clients so projects reflect a broad range of geographies including the US, Europe, Asia and LATAM.

As a Director, you will be responsible to
Act as Life Sciences Market Access & Pricing Strategy subject matter expert
Develop and mentor others in your area of expertise.
Take the lead on specific significant technical specialties
Lead structured thinking and direct research and analysis to deliver high quality projects.
Demonstrate working knowledge of other capability areas in integrated sales/delivery roles.
Design, scope and lead projects to answer client questions
Communicate with impact in challenging situations
Produce, execute and monitor multiple project plans
Foster existing client relationships and expand Huron footprint within those organizations

• 6-8 years of experience managing complex team-based engagements in a life sciences industry setting or consulting environment
• Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals etc.
• Deep pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech industry knowledge, specifically: market access, pricing & reimbursement strategy, value communications and HEOR
• Understanding of the US Payer Market; US Managed Markets Experience
• Superior client relationship management skills and demonstrated capabilities in business and practice development
• Desire to expand professional development into other areas (e.g. Commercial Strategy, MedTech, etc)

• Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience; graduate degree or MBA not required but a plus
