COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR, School of Engineering, to report to the director of communications and serve as a core member of the School of Engineering’s communications team. Will develop and implement communications, marketing, and outreach efforts to support and promote the School of Engineering to internal and external constituents; play a leading role in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the communications team; produce and edit communications for various school channels; manage the school’s main email account; curate social media and web content; design digital assets for social media, web, and print; assist with planning, organizing, and implementing special projects and events; and perform other duties as requested.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least one year of communications experience; excellent project management, organizational, and written and oral communication skills; comprehensive knowledge of digital communications platforms and experience working across social media channels and web platforms (specifically WordPress); high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop); discretion and judgment with sensitive information/issues. Must be able to work independently; prioritize and juggle multiple projects/assignments, integrate constructive feedback, and meet sometimes competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and collaborate across all organizational units as part of a high-performing, team-oriented group.
