The Support Offerings, GTM & IP Management Team part of Microsoft Customer Experience and Success , is a rapidly growing global business made up of exceptional people who deliver world class services, earning customer confidence, trust, and loyalty. We focus on accelerating customer value for Microsoft solutions while building a differentiated customer experience.

The Support Go-to-Market Strategy team is responsible for defining the customer value prop working in partnership with the Support Offerings team, developing tools to equip our field teams for customer conversations, creating memorable storytelling and impactful customer stories, and developing demand generation initiatives that are aligned with our offerings strategy and sales motions.

We’re looking for a great storyteller to continue evolving the Microsoft Support value proposition, develop its narrative and articulate it through internal and external channels - as well as through high impact content such as ROI tools and customer evidence. This person will also be responsible to continue developing our customer insights tools and to capture market and field insights that will help inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

This role requires proven storytelling expertise, strategic thinking, business acumen, a passion for our customers, and outstanding leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Customer marketing - Help drive adoption of new Support offerings via direct-to-customer marketing campaigns through various channels.

  • Identify campaign opportunities that progress the Support business; translate into campaigns, and own each campaign definition (i.e., audience, messaging, timing, success, etc.).

  • Partner closely with campaign execution partners to ensure quality delivery as well as availability of reporting that informs future campaigns and stakeholders.

Sales enablement - Manage GTM tools that are designed to better prepare sellers for customer conversations

  • Oversee the development of new features alongside BI and machine-learning partners.

  • Ensure tool adoption through regular demonstrations, presentations, and integration in relevant field channels like newsletters, trainings, events, etc.

  • Track tool usage and impact to understand ROI and update stakeholders with insights.

Digital marketing - Drive broad awareness of Support offers through digital channels.

  • Continually evolve company website with relevant content (data sheets, testimonials, blog posts, etc.) and messaging.

  • Engage with web development partners to implement website updates

  • Curate content to enable field sales teams to engage in digital conversations with customers.

  • Track performance of digital channels and leverage insights to fine-tune ongoing Support activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital marketing, technical B2B product marketing, or related experience.

  • Excellent business analysis, communication, and presentation skills

  • Thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments with ability to gain followership.

  • Proficient with social media tools and platforms.

  • Ability to be articulate, to think strategically and in a structured manner, and to land data-driven recommendations with business partners at a senior executive level.

  • Ability to successfully resolve ambiguous or potential conflict situations and drive alignment.

  • Passionate about building new projects and processes within a fast-paced environment, while changing the way customers perceive our brand and products.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience; MBA, preferred.

  • Familiarity with PowerBI, or similar reporting and sales execution tools, would be a plus
