The Business Marketing Director for Monitoring Equipment & Infrastructure leads a team of Business Marketing Managers within the Acute Care business, part of Philips Connected Care. You are responsible for a large portfolio of product segments that comprise the Philips Acute Patient Monitoring solution, including: bedside monitors, telemetry, network infrastructure, surveillance, central station, notification, and consumables.

You are responsible for the downstream portfolio strategy and execution to deliver on our business goals, leading the team to launch new products (NPIs) and manage the in-market portfolio (lifecycle management). You will work in close collaboration with the upstream Business team to provide voice of customer input to shape the product roadmap; and will partner with the Go-To-Market and Sales teams to drive demand and win with customers. You will ensure that our value proposition is clear, and communicated in a compelling way to our customers.

You will lead a team, across all aspects of business and portfolio:

  • Annual business planning cycle

  • Opportunity identification and business case development

  • Voice of customer & portfolio shaping

  • Global-local portfolio roadmap alignment

  • New product introduction, lifecycle management and phase-out

  • Price & promotion strategy

  • Activation planning and execution, together with the Go-To-Market team

  • Sales partnership, training, and enablement, together with the Go-To-Market team

  • Value proposition & communication

  • Build local reference sites & case studies to drive leadership

  • Competitive insights & positioning

  • Business Performance Management

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, sales support, clinical specialists, market intelligence

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of industry experience

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Successful downstream business management and strategic marketing

  • Experience in sales, marketing, healthcare or medical technology products or solutions, incl. building customized value propositions to customers and markets

  • Results-oriented and commercial thinking

  • History of success in a complex matrix environment
