The Regulated Industry organization serves 5 core industries - Financial Services, National Government, State and Local Government, Healthcare and Education – supporting customers on their digital journey across the globe. To pursue large, digitally transformative wins, we are looking for a Business Development and Capture Manager for a leadership position within our Regulated Industries. The Business Development and Capture Manager drives the business Strategy for capturing large transformation deals from business development through proposal and the award stages of the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support face-to-face customer meetings with senior management and C-Level Executives

  • Identify large, multi-year deals and develop relationships with associated key business decision makers

  • Build & Maintain Relationships within System Integrator Accounts – Understand the System Integrator business model and sales cycle

  • Develop and execute account client call plans

  • Consistently provide accurate strategic pipelines forecasts of large deals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Qualifications

The Business Development Manager will have proven strategy and business development experience winning business on large US government (including State and Local) programs with values exceeding $100M. The Business Development Manager will coordinate and manage all business development activities including capture activities, pipeline management and prioritization, growth strategy development and implementation that focus on growing the organization. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for daily interaction with US Government program offices, acquisition officials and major Systems Integrators based in the US as well as working with internal engineering, marketing, and partner teams.

The Business Development Manager should have extensive experience working with strategic Federal organizations and should be deeply familiar with the organizational makeup, core missions and strategies of mission systems and government information technology environments. Knowledge of and work experience with Government agencies, specific Government programs, and the Government sales cycle as it relates to large mission support capture pursuits is considered mandatory.

The Business Development Manager will be an experienced, professional leader and communicator who is comfortable in front of large groups as well as senior government and industry personnel and should have a good understanding of Microsoft solutions and associated technologies, particularly Cloud. Preferred qualifications include: 20+ years technology sales experience working with the US Government (including State and Local); strong expertise with enterprise solutions; exceptional leadership, negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written and verbal communication skills; the position may require 35-40% domestic travel with occasional international travel. Prior experience working with US Government customers is desired. Due to the nature of the U.S. Government Business, U.S. citizenship is required. Active Security clearance is a preference.
