Philips Business Development Leader - Ultrasound in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Business Development Leader is responsible for the commercial strategy of new products, solutions and services or the existing portfolio with markets, driving success through innovative business models, sales channels and risk sharing partnerships that ensure the success of growth in local market needs

You are responsible for

  • Ensuring that the BMC enablers are in place from the Business and / or Business Category as part of the BMC plans, for instance NPIs, quality, support for the in-market approaches for channels, etc.

  • Aligning the GTM approach across the Categories or Business with the marketing priorities of the Cluster

  • Supporting the BMC efforts and represents the Business in the BMC for smaller/non-key markets on behalf of the Business Leader

  • Identifying competitive moves in collaboration with the market BM&S and supported by Insights and Analytics.

  • Developing responses and attack plans in collaboration with Category and Product Management and sharing standard methodologies across the markets

  • Supporting strategic deals from a global perspective, especially when they require new commercial models or have a global strategic priority, per of request of the Market

  • Strong collaboration with the Category and Product Managers through feedback into the value proposition creation, product development and launch to improve the commercial success of the offerings

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 15+ Years of relevant in Business Development and Management

  • Strong strategic Business drive and experience in development of new business models (e.g. subscriptions, pay-per-use)

  • Deep understanding of P&L including revenue & margin management

  • Understanding of healthcare industry and medical reimbursement schemes

  • Customer intimacy: driven by a strong external focus

  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function

  • Bringing people together and aligning them around common goals; demonstrates the power of Philips independent of organizational structures and reports

  • Problem Solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or sophisticated issues. Drives continuous improvement via Lean
